FAQ

(frequently asked questions)

When and where are the wedding and reception being held?

The wedding and reception will be on July 1, 2022 at the Battle Ground Community Center in Battle Ground, Washington.

The address is 912 E Main St, Battle Ground, WA 98604.

The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm, immediately followed by dinner, dancing and fun!

For your added convenience, the ceremony and reception will be held in the same space!

Can my kids come?

There are 8 kids JUST in the wedding party. Of course you can bring your kids! We are excited to have lots of kids running around and having fun. This is a party to celebrate our family, and there will be games and activities for all ages!

Is there a dress code?

This is more of a party to celebrate our family than it is a gala event. We appreciate you being respectable, but really, just be comfortable. If you show up in cut off jeans and a stained tank top, you will have to deal with the looks and comments people give you, but you can still enjoy the party.

Do I need to wear a mask?

We will be following the current Washington State health department and CDC guidelines at the time of the ceremony and reception. While we are hopeful masks won't be necessary, the current state of things leaves us wanting to do what we can to celebrate safely. As of mid March, the indoor mask mandates have been lifted state-wide, but anyone who still wants to wear a mask to feel more comfortable in a group setting is welcome to. We will have disposable masks available as well.

Is there a gift registry?

Please see our gift info page

Are you really changing your name to MachDaniel?

No, but it is a fun way to celebrate the joining of our families!

Didn't you just get married last year?

No... well, yeah. Not really. But kind of.

Last summer (on July 1st, as well) we decided to do a fun commitment ceremony just for us, but it was not a legal wedding. This one is the real deal, where we will actually and officially get married, and celebrate the blending of our two families.
